Kashmiri Pandits threatened again; second terror threat in a week, fourth in a month | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 19: Dreaded terror outfit, The Resistance Front or TRF has issued another threat to the innocent migrant Pandits posted in Kashmir under the Prime Minister’s Relief Package leaving the victimized community concerned about their lives.
Official sources said the Jammu and Kashmir Police received inputs about the fresh threat list issued by the TRF, whereby another list of Kashmir Pandits posted in the Valley has been made public by the terror group on its social media handles.
The letter reads that the Pandit community has “always played the victim card”. The last such threat list was reported on December 16.
The TRF, which is the offshoot of the Lashkar, is already involved in the killing of many innocents shot dead in Kashmir.
The Pandit community has been terrified due to the targeted killings and threats.
The dreaded Kashmir Fight terror portal has issued at least three threat lists against the Pandits in the recent past prompting the Union Home ministry to review the matter.

Jammu, Dec 19: In the first, nine students of a private school in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district participated in a global asteroid search campaign as part of NASA’s citizen science project.
The campaign was organised by Delhi-based Homi Lab in association with the International Astronomical search collaboration (IASC) from October 21 to November 15, Homi Lab said in a press release here.
A spokesperson of the lab said this was the first time that a school from the Kathua district has participated in the NASA Campaign.

Srinagar, Dec 18: Security forces arrested an alleged militant associate of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
Police said arrest and the subsequent recovery of arms and ammunition averted targeted attacks in Baramulla and adjoining areas.
Giving details, police said the arrest was made on a specific input from village Chakloo in Baramulla.
"An operation was carried out by joint parties of police and 32 RR, leading to arrest of one terrorist associate Mohammad Ishaq Lone of village Nadihal," a police statement said.
