Jammu, Dec 22: Despite indulging in nearly 900 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border (IB) since August 5, when the Government of India (GoI) reorganized Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan is trying to play a victim card.
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan seems to have got rattled by the befitting response of Indian Army in Sunderbani and Akhnoor Sectors which led to the killing of 2 Pakistani soldiers along the LoC.
The Indian Army had launched a counter offensive after Pakistan Army's Border Action Team (BAT) had killed an Indian Army soldier in Sunderbani Sector along the LoC earlier this week.

Anantnag, Dec 22: Due to pathetic condition of National Highway 44 from Ramban to Qazigund, the Traffic chaos continues as over 12000 trucks loaded with fresh apples are stranded on highway particularly in Qazigund area of South Kashmir's Anantnag district.
The stranded truckrs are up in arms against the Jammu and Kashmir Government particularly as they aren't being allowed to move towards Jammu. The apple fruit loaded trucks are lined-up from Sangam to Jawahar Tunnel in Qazigund and they aren't allowed to move towards Jammu and Delhi, drivers told Early Times.

Srinagar, Dec 22: The State High Court has directed government to file an affidavit by January 29, indicating the steps taken for ensuring constitution of State Consumer Commission and District Consumer Forum "for mitigating the miseries of the litigants by or before the next date of hearing."
A Division Bench of the high court comprising Justices Ali Mohammad Magrey and Dhiraj Singh Thakur passed the orders after Feroz Ahmad, Deputy Advocate General, submitted that the Government is in active consideration of the Constitution of State Consumer Commission, District Consumer Forum and "the only impediment is notification of the rules by the Central Government."

Banihal/Jammu, Dec 22: The 270-km Jammu-Srinagar national highway remained closed for vehicular traffic for the third consecutive day on Sunday as a fresh landslide hampered efforts to reopen the only all-weather road linking Kashmir with the rest of the country, a traffic department official said.
Thousands of vehicles, mostly trucks, are stranded on the highway and will be cleared on priority once the arterial road is opened for traffic, the officials said.
They said a massive landslide struck the highway at Digdole in Ramban district on Saturday evening, completely blocking it besides causing damage to the road.
