Poonch, Dec 25: Additional security personnel were deployed in the Poonch district on Monday even as a search operation was ongoing in the forested terrain of Dera ki Gali, where two Army vehicles were ambushed by heavily armed terrorists from across the border last week.
Additional forces were also deployed in the Bafliaz area of Poonch district, officials informed.
Four Army personnel lost their lives while three others were injured in the ambush attack on Thursday, last week.

JAMMU, Dec 25: Two people were killed and 12 injured on Monday when a minibus carrying a wedding party skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district, police said.

Jammu, Dec 25: A shocking incident unfolded in Gadwal village, under the jurisdiction of Ramgarh police station on Monday, as a young man, identified as Akshay, son of Banarasi Das, fell victim to a brutal and audacious attack by unknown miscreants.

SRINAGAR, Dec 25: A dense layer of fog engulfed Srinagar city, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday affecting normal life, officials said.
There was less than usual traffic on roads in the morning while vehicles were seen moving at low speeds due to the reduced visibility.
