Jammu, Dec 27: In yet another instance of discrimination between Jammu and Kashmir regions, under the much hyped Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS), and DDUGJY, Jammu has got a whopping Rs 82 crore less than Valley, leaving thousands of dwellings craving for electricity in lurch.
It has already been reported that there are no less than 108 villages in Jammu and Kashmir that have not seen electricity till date.
There are 62 villages of Jammu un-electrified, in Kashmir valley the number of such villages is mere 27. The records are falsifying the claims of many about Jammu getting a lion's share in development.
