SRINAGAR, Dec 27: The National Conference has made its veteran politician Mustafa Kamaal apparently "eat a humble pie by cutting him to size" for his remarks that the NC would "not be part of any political process unless Article 370 is restored."

JAMMU, Dec 27:For the first time in Jammu and Kashmir's administrative history, bureaucrats will no longer be entitled to the luxurious officials vehicles as the government moves one step further towards making JK free from VVIP racism.
As per the official sources, the bureaucrats who till now used to enjoy the luxurious vehicles will have to pool now with each other to reach to their respective departments as the government is all set to direct the finance department to purchase new electric vehicles with the capacity of 10 people at minimum that could ferry the bureaucrats from their residences to the offices.

SRINAGAR, Dec 27: Unlike the traditional venue Bakshi Stadium, main Republic Day celebrations will again be held at Shar-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium Srinagar.

RAJOURI, Dec 27: The ambulances meant for Indian System of Medicine (ISM) dispensaries situated along Line of Control (LoC) in District Rajouri are out of order, waiting for funds for maintenance purposes. Ironically, purchased in 2010 these ambulances are also without registration certificates and insurance covers.
