Jammu, Dec 8: In a significant development, the National Conference has attended a crucial meeting with the rivals of Bharatiya Janta Party in the national capital.
Sources said the NC President, Dr Farooq Abdullah held closed door meeting with some top leaders of the Congress and other senior leaders from various parties, who have been trying to “corner the ruling BJP”.
Sources said the meeting was also attended by the leaders from the TMC and Aam Aadmi Party. Sources said Dr Abdullah held detailed discussions over the “delay” in the holding of the Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir asking the other parties to support him on the issue.

New Delhi, Dec 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said Gujarat has broken all records and created history by showering love on the BJP despite the party being in power in the state for 25 years.
Addressing party workers here, Modi said the support to BJP shows that people's anger against dynasty rule and corruption was rising. He said people had voted for the BJP as it was taking all facilities to the poor and middle class at the earliest.
"I am thankful to the voters of Himachal also, where our vote share was just less than one per cent below that of the winning party," he said.
