Jammu, Jan 31: In its efforts to give a further boost to the deliverance of good governance in Jammu and Kashmir, New Delhi is looking ahead to appoint new Advisors for the Union Territory soon.
Sources said the issue of the appointment of new Advisors was discussed threadbare in the national capital by some of the top leaders of the Bharatiya Janta Party who are part of the decision-making.
The sources said in the wake of inputs from Jammu and Kashmir that “one Advisor alone is not enough for effective deliverance of good governance, the matter was discussed threadbare.”

Srinagar, Jan 31: Air operations resumed from Kashmir on Tuesday as weather conditions improved, officials said.
The flight operation at Srinagar International Airport had remained suspended for the day on Monday due to major snowfall.
However, Srinagar-Jammu National highway remained closed for the second consecutive day on Tuesday due to shooting of stones and mudslides at various places.

Ramban, Jan 31: The traffic movement on Srinagar-Jammu national highway resumed partially, which was suspended on Monday due to landslides, shooting stones and snowfall, officials said here on Tuesday.
An official said that however, no new traffic was allowed on the highway.
He said stranded vehicles were being allowed to move after road was cleared. “Our men and machinery were on the job day and night to restore the traffic”, he said.
