Submit APRs before Feb 27: Govt to employees | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 12: Taking serious note of the attitude of many employees who have yet not submitted their Annual Property Returns (APRs), the government has set a deadline of February 27 for all employees to submit their APRs.
For the last two months, the government has been repeateadly asking employees to submit their APRs but many employees are hesitating to submit details of their property.
“Vide Circular No. 36-JK (GAD) of 2023 dated 21.12.2023, followed by notification dated 29.12.2023, all the employees working under Jammu and Kashmir Government were advised to file their property returns for the year 2023, w.e.f. from 1st of January, 2024 to 31st of January, 2024, on the PRS portal, which is accessible on https://prs.jk.gov.in”, a order issued by the GAD departments reads.
It was further mentioned in the order that many employees have failed to submit their property returns within the stipulated timeline and have thus made a default in this mandatory process.

Jammu, Feb 12: While 154 government employees have been removed from service so far after they were found involved in terror activities, more terror friendly are likely to face music in the coming days.

Banihal/Jammu, Feb 12: Three teenage sisters were killed in a fire at their house in a remote village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district on Monday, officials said.
The three-storey house in Dhanmasta-Tajnihal village in Ukhral block caught fire in the early hours of the day, they said.
The victims — Bisma (18), Saika (14) and Saniya (11) — were sleeping on the top floor and were unable to escape as the fire had engulfed the house.
Their bodies were found by personnel of the fire and emergency services, the officials said, adding that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Jammu, Feb 12: Indian Railways will be operating three special trains from Katra, Udhampur and Jammu to Ayodhya. Official sources said that a total of three trains will be operating to Ayodhya.
The trains from Udhampur will be operating on February 16, from Jammu on February 22 and from Katra on February 27.
