Recruitment Issue: BJP realizes Babus hellbent to spoil party’s prospects for coming J&K elections | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 13: Decisions of Jammu and Kashmir to readvertise recruitment of border battalions and circular of the General Administration Department (GAD) regarding withdrawal posts triggered a big political controversy between BJP and UT administration.
Facing the wrath of people on these two decisions, dubbed as ‘anti-youth’ by agitating candidates, BJP has decided to oppose Jammu and Kashmir administration and announced support to agitating youth.
“Both the decision are anti-people. We will oppose such decisions tooth and nail”, spokesman of J&K BJP Abhinav Sharma told media while dubbing both the decisions as “unconstitutional and illegal”.
“Recruitment process for border battalions was started much before implementation of Domicile concept in J&K. Many candidates have cleared physical tests and qualified for written test”, Sharma said and made it clear that there was no reason to readvertise these posts.
“As far as circular of the GAD is concerned, BJP’s stand is very loud and clear. We will oppose such action of the government”, Sharma said.
