Jammu, Feb 13: The decision of the National Conference president and former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah to skip his appearance before the Enforcement Directorate office at Srinagar raised many questions.
Like Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the National Conference stalwart is repeatedly avoiding questioning of the investigation agencies in the infamous Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association scam.
For the second time in a month, Dr Farooq Abdullah skipped his appearance before the ED office in Srinagar.

President Daroupadi Murmu has given her nod to the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means), Bill, 2024, which aims to check cheating in government recruitment exams.

A China-manufactured drone and a huge quantity of drugs were intercepted by the Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police near border villages along the international border, Khalsa Vox reported.
The first incident unfolded near Chann Kalan village in the Amritsar sector when BSF personnel intercepted the movement of a suspicious drone on February 10.

NEW DELHI, Feb 13:
Twenty three candidates have bagged the perfect 100 score in the engineering entrance exam JEE-Main 2024 with a maximum of them being from Telangana, the National Testing Agency announced on Tuesday. Over 11.70 lakh candidates had appeared for the first edition of the crucial exam.
Among the candidates who secured an NTA score of 100, seven are from Telangana, two from Haryana, three each from Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, two from Delhi and one each from Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. All of them are males.
According to NTA officials, NTA score is not the same as percentage of marks obtained but normalised scores.

JAMMU, Feb 13: An earthquake of magnitude 3.4 on the Richter Scale hit the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, the National Centre for Seismology said. They said, the earthquake occurred at around 06:34 pm at a depth of 5 km. The epicentre of the earthquake was found to be at latitude 33.35 and longitude 76.62, as per NCS.
