Jammu, Feb 17: The incidents of vandalism and violence witnessed in Jammu, following dastardly terrorist attack in Pulwama in which over 40 CRPF jawans were martyred, could be called outcome of the public anger but state administration is solely responsible for all the incidents in which several vehicles were damaged and torched as youth were beaten and arrested in various parts of the city.
One can't expect discipline from angry mob but the onus of maintaining peace and normalcy lies solely with the government administration, but it almost failed.

SRINAGAR, Feb 17: Two days after Home Minister, Rajnath Singh asked the security agencies to review security of separatists in Kashmir; the Jammu & Kashmir administration led by Governor Satya Pal Malik today issued formal orders of withdrawal of security of five separatist leaders.
The security has been withdrawn with respect to Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Professor Abdul Gani Bhat, Bilal Gani Lone and Hashim Qureshi. The security vehicles allotted in favour of these separatists have also been withdrawn with immediate orders from this evening only.

Jammu, Feb 17: As the Public Information Officer (PIO) in the office of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri had failed to provide details about the number of workshops and seminars held in the district on Right to Information Act (RTI), the officer has now provided the details after matter was agitated before various forums.
