Jammu, Feb 18: Police have arrested a local leader of ruling Peoples Democratic Party for his alleged involvement in a terror plot which was purportedly formulated to kill politicians of Marwah and former MoS Home and National Conference MLC Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo.
The arrested PDP leader has been identified as Abdul Rashid Tak, ex-Panch of Yardoo Panchayat ward No. 2. The terror plot came to fore after Police and Army arrested a Special Police Officer turned terrorist Mohammad Yaseen and his accomplice Riyaz Khanday. Yaseen had deserted the Police force and formed a terrorist group to carry out political killings in Marwah area.
As per the details available with "Early Times" the public of Marwah took a strong note of the alleged bid to hush up the matter and rasied hue and cry about it. Locals had confronted the Superintendent of Police Kishtwar in front of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana, who visited the Marwah few days ago. Reliable sources informed Early Times that Vocational Trainer appointed in Government Higher Secondary School, Sumbh of district Samba had resigned due to some personal reason in December 2017 and the post was lying vacant.

SRINAGAR, Feb 19: With the fiscal year 2017-2018 nearing end, government is unlikely to check accurate progress of the state in view of non-submitting of Results Framework Document(RFD) by most of the departments.
Government has directed departments several times to submit RFD annually in the month of January. However, most of the departments did not pay any heed by not submitting the RFD to the government.
"When departments don't submit RFD then how can government check the progress of the state," an official of the Finance Department, said.
