Official records that were seen by the Early Times bureau here showed that the said officer was "undergraduate" and the same has been confirmed by the government itself. Sources said the official who had been a favorite with the National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party regimes has been given a plum posting due to some "Sufarish" from the political quarters who had allegedly requested their aides in Raj Bhawan to give a "very good posting to their favorite man."
