Early Times Report Srinagar, Feb 21: Two students of a religious educational institution died on Wednesday due to suffocation in J&K’s Bandipora district, said officials here. Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 21: The 270-km strategic Jammu-Srinagar national highway was opened for one-way traffic on Wednesday afternoon after remaining closed for the past two days due to multiple landslides in Ramban district, officials of the traffic department said. Govt notifies free drugs, diagnostics at health centres

Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 21: Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education Department has notified a list of drugs and diagnostics to be made available free of cost at various health and wellness centres across the Union Territory. According to an order, at least 65 drugs and 38 diagnostics will now be available free of cost in Primary Health Centres and Sub-Centres across Jammu and Kashmir with immediate effect. Notably, NHM J&K had proposed to increase the number of drugs and diagnostics at Health & Wellness Centres and had also suggested to constitute a committee to examine and recommend the list. Police said that a manager of the Ellaquai Dehati Bank (a rural bank sponsored by SBI) disappeared with Rs 33 lakh from Lorgham branch of the bank in Pulwama. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Feb 21: An avalanche has blocked Sindh stream in Sonamarg area of Jammu and Kashmir, changing the course of the waterbody, officials said here on Wednesday. An avalanche struck the Hung area of Sonamarg on Srinagar-Leh road, blocking the flow of water in the Sindh stream, they said. The blockade caused by the avalanche debris forced a change in the course of the stream and water started flowing over the road adjacent to it, the officials said.
