Despite assurances of BJP leaders, Govt issues notification for recruitment of border battalions | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 26: Notwithstanding repeated assurance of BJP leadership, J&K Government issued a notification seeking fresh applications for recruitment in border battalions.
For the last over one month, aspirants of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Border/Women Battalion are agitating for their demand for early conduct of written examination for the posts of Border/Women Battalion advertised in the year 2019 and cancellation of new notification for the recruitment.
Instead of treating this issue through the humanitarian ground, the authorities have issued a fresh notification to give an impression that the J&K government is least concerned about the problems of the youth.

Jammu, Feb 26: The much hyped Golden Card meant for the poor is not working at Government Medical College Jammu.
The patients who are admitted in the hospital are being asked to purchase the medicine from the open market as the drugs are not available in the hospital.
A man from Mandi Poonch has been struggling to get his wife treated at GMC Jammu, where he has been asked to purchase medicines from the open market. “My wife developed complications after she developed an infection after getting an injection in Mandi Hospital,” the man said.
