Srinagar: Even as the administration in Jammu and Kashmir has been spending “millions” to host musical concerts or sorts, where even the Bollywood celebrities are invited to perform, the officials are complaining of shortage of money to tackle deadly dog menace which is turning deadly.
In Pattan area of north Kashmir, stray dogs have been on rampage attacking children in particular. This month alone, a kid was killed and another mauled by stray dogs. While the locals staged protests demanding action against the stray packs, the officials allegedly responded saying they had no funds.

New Delhi, Feb 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a high-level meeting on the Ukraine crisis on Sunday, official sources said.
He is expected to preside over the meeting immediately upon his return from Uttar Pradesh, where he addressed rallies as part of the BJP’s campaign for the state assembly polls.
A large number of Indians, mostly students, have been stuck in Ukraine following Russia’s attack on the country. India has begun evacuating them, and over 900 people have been brought back since Saturday.
