Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 27: National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah on Monday once again indicated that Peoples Democratic Party has no role in discussions over seat sharing arrangement for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. Omar made it explicitly clear that the National Conference will hold a second round of discussions with Congress on seat-sharing in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Union territories for the LS polls as the two parties could not reach an understanding in the earlier round of talks held last week. “There has been one round of discussion in New Delhi. New Delhi, Feb 27: A preliminary probe into the incident of the driverless running of a freight train for about 70 km from Kathua (Jammu) to Ucchi Bassi Station (Punjab) in Jammu Tawi-Pathankot section has suggested that both the driver as well as the station master failed to fulfil their responsibilities. The joint probe report, signed by five senior railway officials, has recorded the statements of various persons involved in the incident and described the turn of events which point to dereliction of duties on the part of the driver and the station master of Kathua. Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 27: The Crime Branch Jammu (CBJ) on Tuesday arrested a man posing as under-secretary with Raj Bhawan. A CB spokesman in a statement said one Firdous Ahmed Wagay was arrested by CICE Jammu unit of Crime Branch after taking cognizance in case FIR 03/2024. Wagay, resident of Waskora, Ganderbal has been booked under relevant sections of law and further investigations are on. “The impersonator was apprehended by a team of P/S CICE Jammu. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Feb 27: A fire engine on Tuesday morning turned turtle while it was on its way to douse flames broken out in a residential house in Wagoora area, an official said on Tuesday. An official said that an information was received at F&ES Station in Kreeri on intervening Monday and Tuesday night, regarding outbreak of an fire in residential house of one Manzoor Ahmad in Durhama Wagoora.
