JAMMU, Feb 2: It may sound weird but true that the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory has not procured Critical Care Air Ambulance till date even as there are a large number of patients, who remain in dire need of it as and when they had to be shifted outside the UT.
In absence of such a vital component of critical care, the patients having serious health problems often die untimely thanks to the concerned department for showing least interest in the procurement of the Air Ambulances.

Srinagar, Feb 2: All eyes are on the first ever full-fledged budget for Union Territory Jammu and Kashmir and is expected to be passed by the Parliament in this week.
Source said that J&K Finance Department has proposed a budget of over Rs one lakh crore for the new Union Territory.
“In absence of elected government in UT, the Budget has to be approved by the Parliament,” they said.
“The budget will be presented by Union Finance Minister NirmalaSitharaman and has to be passed by both houses of Parliament,” an official said.
