Basant Rath stokes another controversy; lodges complaint against senior officers | | |

Jammu, Feb 3: Known for creating controversies, the suspended controversial officer Basant Rath on Friday stoked another controversy after lodging a complaint against senior officers for “hatching a conspiracy to eliminate him”.
Basant Rath has lodged this complaint days after announcing to join BJP to “serve” the people of Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh.
Basant Rath shared the complaint on his personal Twitter handle. Rath has lodged a complaint at Police Station Gandhi Nagar of Jammu district of J&K.
“Application/Complaint seeking registration of FIR and initiation of action against the officers for hatching a criminal conspiracy against the applicant/complainant to eliminate the applicant/complainant and to act in furtherance of such criminal conspiracy by misusing their position and power against the law and to put the life, limb, and liberty of the applicant/complainant in danger as well as for extending threats to the applicant/complainant through goons/henchmen”, reads a complaint lodged by Rath.

NIA to question Jammu blasts ‘kingpin’; Special team to come from Delhi | | |

Jammu, Feb 3: Even as the Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed to have cracked the incidents of blasts that took place on January 21 in the winter capital here by arresting the alleged kingpin, the National Investigation Agency or NIA is likely to question the prime accused soon.
Sources said while the JK Police have already got around ten-day remand for the accused, Arif who hails from Reasi, the NIA would separately question him.
The sources said the NIA has already approached the JK Police to seek questioning of the accused but that it could take a few days as the cops are already investigating the case at their level.

Currently the weather in Kashmir is cloudy and mainly clear in Jammu region likely to remain dry during the next two weeks, the MeT office said, adding there is no major snowfall, rainfall during the period.

Jammu, Feb 3: The sleuths of Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday raided more than 35 locations across Jammu region in an alleged Finance Accounts Assistant Examination scam of Jammu and Kashmir.
Notably, around one lakh aspirants appeared in the examination last year and they alleged leakage of paper to recruit blue eyed by the department.
