Former PDP leader to hold business conclave for 're-launch of his political career' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 6: A former minister, who resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party some months ago, is planning to "re-launch his political career" through a so called business conclave likely to be held in Kashmir later this month.
Sources said the former minister, who is also known for his "political economics" is getting the conclave held through his aide, a Kashmiri man who was previously working with NGOs.
Sources said the conclave is being held at a health resort and that the former minister who has "good relations with some big corporate houses across the country, is personally lobbying with them to make the event a big success."
Sources said the former minister had last year also got a business conclave held in Kashmir allegedly for his "self promotion".
"That time the event was held through some business leaders of Kashmir who were close the said politician," the sources said.
Sources said the former PDP leader had asked the same "business leaders" to hold this business event as well but that they expressed inability.
