Jammu, Feb 28: The Raj Bhawan has allegedly given such a "free hand" to government servants from Kashmir that now even the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) and the ruling Bharatiya Janta Party in the centre are getting red faced by such "anti-national acts" of the employees.
Officials said on Sunday when BJP President Amit Shah and minister of state in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh addressed a party rally in Jammu and stressed on the importance of nationalism in the state, a Kashmiri government servant made anti-national comments on TV debate, taking the ruling party head on and also demanded resolution of the so called "Kashmir dispute."
The said government servant who was introduced as Mushtaq Hak Sikander has been coming on TV debates despite the concerned authorities being in the know of the matter.
Sikander contradicted Dr Jitender Singh and Amit Shah's viewpoint in the TV discussion and said that "Kashmir issue should be resolved."

Srinagar, Feb 28: Socio-religious group Jamaat-e-Islami of Jammu & Kashmir has been banned by the central government. The order was issued late on Thursday, with a statement issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) stating that the Jamaat has been declared illegal under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967.
"Under Section 3 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, the central government declares the Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI), Jammu and Kashmir as an 'unlawful association'," said the statement issued by the MHA.
