Jammu, Mar 9: Even as the Raj Bhawan had promised 50,000 new government jobs for the educated unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir, the assurance has been seemingly reduced to an offer of “skilled labor job” that too not with surety but as a “matter of chance.”
While hundreds of thousands of youth in Jammu and Kashmir are jobless, the J&K government has started celebrating its scheme Be Rozgar Se Swarozgar Scheme as a mega festival.
The Early Times in an analysis of the mega festival could infer that it would be skilled labor offer for the educated unemployed youth is more of hype to hold festival than hope.
“In order to provide adequate Job opportunities to the youth of J&K and make them self dependent, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has started ‘Be Rozgar Se Swarozgar Scheme’.
The scheme says that it will give a jobless youth “a chance” to earn livelihood. process.

Udhampur, Mar 9: Political parties on Wednesday condemned the blast that took place in Udhampur town of today killing one person and injuring 15 others.
The blast took place around 12:45 pm at Salathia Chowk near district court complex Udhampur.
“Unequivocally condemn the Udhampur attack in which one person lost his life and several others were injured,” Balwant Singh Mankotia, former MLA Udhampur said adding: “May the deceased rest in peace and we prayed Almighty for speedy recovery to the injured.”

Srinagar, Mar 9: A sarpanch was shot dead by militants in Kashmir on Wednesday evening, official sources said.
The attack on Sarpanch took place hours after a person was killed and 13 were injured in a mysterious blast on Wednesday afternoon in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The sources said that a Sarpanch, identified as Sameer Ahmad Bhat, was shot at in Khonmoh area on Srinagar outskirts by gunmen.
"He was critically injured and shifted to a Srinagar hospital, where he succumbed to injuries," they said.
