Azad loyalists in dock, Patil arriving next week | | |

Jammu, Mar 13: A day after dropping Ghulam Nabi Azad’s name fron list of ‘star campaigners’ for the forthcoming assembly elections for five states, Congress high-command has reportedly asked AICC incharge J&K Rajni Patil to act tough against his (Azad’s) loyalists in the Union Territory (UT).
Reliable sources said that Rajni Patil is coming to Jammu on March 20 to hold crucial meeting with office bearers of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) to prepare lists of all loyalists of Azad so as to initiate action against them.
“Already party has prepared show-causes which will be served to some loyalists of Azad for boycotting official functions for the last some months”, sources said and revealed that process of taking action against them would be expedited after Jammu’s rally.
Sources said that earlier Congress high-command was mulling over giving some time to Azad loyalists in J&K to mend their ways but now it has been decided to take action as early as possible.
