Amid record tourism in Kashmir, Modi Govt makes Pak bite dust internationally | | | Sanjay Pandita

Jammu, Mar 13: With the abrogation of the so-called special status of Jammu and Kashmir, the Modi government has been able to cut Pakistan to its size as the enemy country has started biting dust over its “international conspiracies” against Kashmir, which continues to witness record breaking tourism.
Recently the Pakistan`s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari admitted that Islamabad has been unable to get Kashmir to the “centre” of the UN agenda and India`s diplomacy is able to scuttle its efforts. “We face a particularly uphill task to try and get Kashmir onto the centre of the agenda at the United Nations,” he recently told the reporters.
Observers look at the Pakistani statement as surrender of its international conspiracies against Kashmir due to the bold decisions taken by the Modi government since August 5, 2019.

JAMMU, Mar 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday suspended Jammu Kashmir Administrative Officer (JKAS) officer, Abdul Rashid Dass with immediate effect.
According to an order, Abdul Rashid Dass, JKAS, Assistant Commissioner (Development), Bandipora is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect for unauthorized absence/proceeding on leave without approval of the competent Authority.

Srinagar, Mar 13: The National Investigation Agency on Monday conducted a search in Srinagar in connection with ISIS Kerala module case, officials said. NIA said that the house of Uzair Azhar Bhat of Karfali Mohalla, Srinagar, who is suspected to have been part of the ISIS conspiracy, was raided and searched by the sleuts of the anti terror agency. Srinagar, Mar 13: Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) on Monday attached a house of an accused involved in alleged militant activities in Anantnag Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Officials said the house of Mohammad Ishaq Malik of Dhanwetehpora Kokernag who was allegedly involved in the militant activities was attached by the SIU Anantnag under section 25 UAP Act.
The attachment was done in presence of the Executive Magistrate, they said.
SIU went to the specific location with a posse of security men and pasted the notice of attachment on the house in the presence of local Sarpanches, Panches and Chowkidars.

New Delhi, Mar 13: The central government on Monday approved ₹ 1,816.162 crore of additional central assistance to Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Meghalaya and Nagaland as they faced natural disasters like floods, landslides and cloudburst in 2022.
A high-level committee, chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, took the decision showing the resolve of the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help the people of the five States who faced these natural disasters, said a Home Ministry statement.
Additional central assistance will be provided to these states under the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF).

Srinagar, Mar 13: Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday busted a Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant hideout and recovered war like stores including arms and ammunition in Anantnag district.
Police in a statement said that during the intervening night of March 12 and 13, on the basis of a specific input developed over a period of time by Anantnag Police, a joint Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) along with army’s 1Rashtriya Rifles (RR) was launched in Rakh Momin Dangi area of Bijbehara.
