All eyes on Azad’s March 20 meeting in Jammu | | |

Jammu, Mar 16: Amid infighting in the Congress after the humiliating debacle of the party in five states, rebel leader Ghulam Nabi has called a meeting of his supporters on March 20 at Jammu to devise a future course of action.
This meeting is significant because the party high command has not listened to Azad’s suggestions in the recently held Congress Working Committee meeting.
After being completely sidelined by the high command, Azad-former leader of opposition in the Rajya Sabha, is visiting Jammu on March 20 to hold interaction with his supporters.
A senior leader of Congress, who owes his allegiance to Ghulam Nabi Azad, said that the dissident leader will take a final decision after holding interactions with his supporters at Jammu on March 20.

Srinagar, Mar 16: Security forces shot dead three Lashkar-e-Toiba militants in a gunfight in Kashmir, officials said on Wednesday.
Police said the slain militants were involved in the killing of a Sarpanch, Sameer Ahmed Bhat last week.
They said the gunfight erupted on the outskirts of Srinagar at Nowgam when security forces launched an anti militancy operation around midnight following an input about the presence of militants in the area.
