Cong decides to ignore Azad loyalists in Patil’s programmes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 19: After getting a green signal from the high-command, J&K Congress has decided not to invite loyalists of Ghulam Nabi Azad in any programme of AICC incharge J&K Rajni Patil who is reaching Srinagar on Saturday.
Patil will address functions in different areas of Kashmir Valley and Jammu province during her five-day stay in J&K. First time she will spend five days in J&K after her appointment as AICC incharge of the Union Territory.
“None of the Azad loyalists would be invited in any programme of Rajni Patil”, sources said and added that the party has decided to sideline all leaders who owe their allegiance with Azad. In Jammu, Patil is scheduled to lead a protest against hike in prices of essential commodities. She will also address a rally at Kathua in which Azad loyalists will be ignored.
