Central team, Gujarat ATS to question conman Kiren Patel in Srinagar | | | Sanjay Pandita

Jammu, Mar 19: A high-level team of officials from New Delhi and the Anti Terror Squad of the Gujarat Police are likely to arrive in Srinagar soon for the questioning of the Gujarati conman, Kiren Patel, who faking to be a senior official had been enjoying VIP security and other benefits, during his multiple visits to Kashmir before being nabbed by police.
Sources said the team comprising senior officials from the MHA and those from the intelligence wings, apart from the Gujarat ATS are likely to question him in the coming days.
The sources said the Modi government has taken a serious note of the allegedly negligence on the part of some officials in the administration in Kashmir and that to get a “clear cut picture of the situation” the special teams were likely arrive in a day or two, most likely.
Sources said the case is being probed from all angles and that the “administrative breach” is not being ruled out.

Alert sounded in Samba after leopard crosses LoC | | |

Samba/Jammu, Mar 19: An alert has been sounded in Ramgarh sector along the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district after a leopard crossed over to the Indian side from Pakistan, a police official said on Sunday.
The leopard was caught on camera crossing the fencing near the Border Security Force (BSF) border outpost nursery on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.

NEW DELHI, Mar 19: The Union Home Ministry has started the process for eviction and sale of enemy properties, the immovable assets left behind by people who have taken citizenship of Pakistan and China.
There are a total of 12,611 establishments called enemy property, roughly estimated to be worth over Rs 1 lakh crore, in the country.
The enemy properties are vested with the Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI), an authority created under the Enemy Property Act.

Srinagar, Mar 19: Another labourer from Bihar, who was injured in a road accident in Jammu and Kashmir's Awantipora sub district, succumbed to his injuries taking the toll to five, officials said.
The deceased was identified as Gulzar Ahmad Ansari son of Munib Ansari succumbed to his injuries at Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) hospital in Srinagar on Sunday.
