Amid spike in terror strikes, foreign delegation makes no commitment on JK investments! | Tayn Tayn Phish! | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 24: Even as the government must have spend millions to host a delegation from the United Arab Emirates in Kashmir, the delegates made no commitment on foreign investment in the Union Territory raising questions over security situation in the wake of spike in terror incidents.
During the three day visit of the high level delegation from UAE, which concluded on March 22, multiple terror strikes took place in Kashmir. While a policeman was killed in the same summer capital where the delegates were camping, elsewhere at least three separate terror strikes took place.
Official sources said New Delhi is not happy the way the Raj Bhawan has been handling situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Security apparatus has to be on high alert during such high profile visits lest any terror strike takes place and hinders the prospects of foreign investment. But we have an administration in place which failed to keep situation under control even for three days,” said a senior official on the condition of anonymity.
