Jammu, Mar 25: After detaining a couple from Kullian village of RS Pura, intelligence agencies have reportedly prepared a list of sympathisers of pro-khalistani preacher Amritpal Singh in Jammu and Kashmir.
Highly placed sources said that intelligence agencies with the collaboration of Punjab Police have prepared a list of sympathisers of Amritpal Singh in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
“During questioning some of the arrested supporters of Amritpal Singh have revealed names of their supporters in different parts of the country,” sources said.
Jammu Police in the wee hours of Saturday morning conducted a raid in Kullian village of the border sub-division of R S Pura and detained a couple for having links with the fugitive pro-Khalistan leader and chief of Wasis Punjab De Amritpal Singh.
The arrested couple has been identified as Amrik Singh and his wife Sarabjeet Kour, residents of Prem Chak village and presently putting up at Kullian near R S Pura town.

New Delhi, Mar 25: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government has once again decided to decrease the jurisdiction of “disturbed areas” declared under the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, or AFSPA, in Nagaland, Assam and Manipur.

Jammu, Mar 25: One labourer died and three others were injured in a mysterious explosion that took place inside a factory on Saturday in Bari Brahmana area of Samba district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police sources said that a blast took place inside the scrap factory in Kalagate Industrial area of Bari Brahmana.
“One person have died and three injured,” police said adding that they were immediately rushed to the nearby hospital from where two of them with critical injuries, were referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu.

| | J&K to get Vande Bharat trains next year: Railway Minister | | |

Srinagar, Mar 25: The railway line connecting the Kashmir Valley with the rest of the country will be completed this year, and the special ‘Vande Bharat’ trains will chug in the Union Territory next year, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said today.
Addressing a press conference at Nowgam railway station here, he said the Udhampur-Banihal track, connecting Jammu with Srinagar, will be completed by December this year, or early next year.
With this, the Udhampur-Baramulla railway line in J&K will be completed.
