Patients, attendants suffer amid lack of basic equipments

Ankit Kessar Early times Report Rajouri, Mar 26: Government Medical College Rajouri has been running on “Jugaad” based wheelchairs due to which patients and their attendants had to suffer a lot in moving patients from place to other in hospital. Some attendants informed the Early Times that the wheel chair, which has been kept in hospital, is broken and one of the wheels has been fixed with wire temporarily which is unable to move properly leading to inconvenience to the patients. In the absence of adequate number of wheelchairs and stretchers, patients, especially those who can’t walk, are having a harrowing time at Government Medical College Rajouri. Early times Report Srinagar, Mar 26: Consumers in Kashmir have alleged that there is a big scam involved in Ujjwala Scheme. An old man, Ghulam Mohammad War, told reporters that he was asked to fill up the form for gas connection but instead a connection subsidy came into his account despite him having no LPG connection. “I was asked to fill up the form on my name and the names of my wife and my daughter-in-law but no connection was provided.
