Jammu, Mar 2: After the MIG 21, which shot down Pakistani fighter plane, crashed on the other side of the Line of Control (LoC), the pilot of that aircraft Wing Commander Abhinandan got trapped on the other side. Just within a few hours after Abhinandan was taken captive, Indian government stood up and owned its man and cautioned Pakistan that they should treat him with dignity.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "Difference between India and Pakistan is clearly visible. Whenever any terrorist, who is a Pakistani national, is killed in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir or is arrested, Pakistan never owns him. In fact Pakistan did not even own its soldiers who were killed during Kargil war. It took 11-years for Pakistan to acknowledge that its soldiers were killed during that war."

Jammu, Mar 2: The Union Home Ministry on February 28 declared J&K Jamaat-e-Islami an unlawful outfit and banned it for a period of five years under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The Jamaat was banned on the ground that it allegedly had links with terror outfits, that its activities were against national unity and that it had been indulging in subversive activities.

Jammu, Mar 2: The ban on Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) in Jammu and Kashmir has exposed how the JEI was "supporting" Peoples Democratic Party in the elections over the years.
While the PDP has come out in public against the ban asking the people to stage protests against the government decision, the National Conference has been largely silent.
The former Chief Minister and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti warned on Saturday that banning the Jamaat will have "dangerous ramifications".
