Jammu, Mar 2: Although BJP has announced its candidates for two Lok Sabha seats in Jammu province, almost all senior Congress leaders are hesitating to contest the Parliamentary elections on these two seats.
Highly placed sources in the party said that despite getting their names incorporated in the panels of potential candidates, senior Congress leaders have not shown much enthusiasm in joining the electoral battle in Parliamentary elections.
Sources said in the Jammu-Reasi Lok Sabha constituency one senior Congress leader has half-heartedly shown his willingness to contest elections. In the Udhampur-Doda seat, the party is finding it difficult to get a suitable face.
Meanwhile, putting aside all speculations and rumours, the BJP on Saturday repeated both the sitting Lok Sabha members of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu, Mar 2: Traffic was suspended on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway early on Saturday after heavy rainfall triggered multiple landslides and shooting stones in the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
The 270-km highway, the only all-weather road linking Kashmir with the rest of the country, was blocked at over half a dozen places between Nashri and Banihal, they said.
