Jammu, Mar 3: A day after a faction of J&K Congress held a demonstration against the ex-leader of opposition in the Rajya Sabha, loyalists of Ghulam Nabi Azad on Wednesday launched a counter offensive to defend their leader.
While as ex-MLC Subash Gupta organized a pro-Azad protest at Hiranagar, former MLA Akram Choudhary along with Jahangir Mir launched a counter offensive against Shahnawaz Choudhary for his ‘irresponsible utterance’ against ex-chief minister.
“At which capacity Shahnawaz Choudhary is holding protest against Ghulam Nabi Azad as Congress worker?, asked Akram Choudhary, ex-MLA of Surankote, adding, “Shahnawaz had contested District Development Council (DDC) election against Congress candidate”. Jammu, Mar 3: One allegedly influential government official, who is accused of running a “business of woman rights”, has made an anti-government tweet over allegations against the security forces dating back to 1990s.
The government servant, who is supposed to be observing the guidelines which prevent the officials from speaking against the establishment, has made one such brazen expression against the security forces when nothing has been proved against the men in uniform in that case.
