In Jammu smart city’s meeting on Tawi, no mention of artificial lake! | Last Gayee, Baat Gayee! | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 4: Even as the Jammu Smart City Limited has held a meeting on the Tawi River Front Development Project, there was no mention of the artificial lake, which awaits completion for years.
Sources said on March 3, the Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL), officials visited the construction site to review the progress of Tawi River Front Development project here.
The Chief Executive Officer, the Additional CEO and other senior officials were accompanied by the officials of Project Management Consultancy (PMC) accompanied CEO, JSCL.
After taking first-hand information on the status of the Development project, the JSCL officials passed directions to officials and project executing agencies to expedite pace of work to complete the ambitious project in a stipulated time frame.
It was observed that “completion of the project would add to the aesthetic value of the city of temples as well as provide business opportunities to the citizens.”

Jammu, Mar 4: Patients and their attendants at Government Medical College Hospital Jammu are facing immense hardships due to the alleged lackadaisical attitude of the authorities.
One of the attendants while talking to a local news channel said, “My father is a diabetic patient and he was admitted at GMC Jammu after he developed some complications. Despite having an Ayushman Bharat Card, I had to purchase the medicines and surgical instruments, including a scissor and stitching thread from the open market.”

JAMMU, Mar 4: Locals of Gharana village in RS Pura are upset over acquisition of private land for the Wetland Development project as they are rooting for the review of the plan as well as handsome compensation for their losses.
