Jammu, Mar 5: The National Conference seems to be inching towards improving relations with the Modi government as former Chief Minister and the NC, President, Omar Abdullah has stopped supporting those who criticize the NDA led government at the center.
In the recent surprise, Omar Abdullah retweeted a news report by national media that had taken a dig at Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi for his controversial “north-south remarks.”
It is pertinent to mention that Omar was seen among the staunch supporters of Rahul Gandhi till a few months ago. It was largely believed that Rahul had played a key role in convincing Congress to support Omar as being the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir in the past.
Interestingly, Omar also used to be an admirer of Samajwadi Party, President, Akhilesh Yadav.
But recently when, Akhilesh caused a stir over Covid19 vaccine saying that he was not sure of its efficacy only to target Modi-government, Omar had seemingly come in support of the BJP government.

SRINAGAR, Mar 5: The union territory of Jammu & Kashmir reported 81 new cases of Corona Virus following which the total number of positive cases reached 1, 26,853. The death toll reached 1,960 as one death was reported from Jammu division in the past 24 hours.
