As JK admin talks of ‘Ease of Doing Business,’ local business units face extinction threat | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 6: Even as the administration in Jammu and Kashmir has been “talking tall” about introducing “Ease of Doing Business”, scores of local business units in J&K complain of being at the verge of extinction.
The administration has been claiming that after “dismal performance for over seven decades in the industrialization sector”, Jammu and Kashmir has entered into “a new age of developmental trajectory” with the integration of ‘Single Clearance Window Portal’ with the National Single Window System (NSWS), from industrial units to other business ventures, the local entrepreneurs, who had been struggling for survival say “things have become so tough due to babu raaj that many of them may face closure soon.”
The administration has been blowing the trumpet when the industrialists have already pressed the “panic button.”
