BJP kickstarts ‘massive outreach’ in JK 3/6/2023 11:04:24 PM Sanjay Pandita Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 6: Within days of its meeting with the Union Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah in New Delhi, the Bharatiya Janta Party has kickstarted its “massive outreach” in Jammu and Kashmir. While a mega meeting of the party cadres was held in Srinagar on March 5, on March 6, the senior BJP leader Ashok Koul chaired a meeting in Anantnag. Sources said on March 7, the party would hold a similar event in Kulgam followed by more meetings in the coming days across the valley. A similar plan has been chalked out for Jammu. Sources said Shah has told the BJP leaders from Jammu and Kashmir to intensify public outreach. A senior BJP leader, who spoke to the Early Times on the condition of anonymity, said “some major political activity is on the cards and this is why our party has opted for a massive public outreach.” He said the BJP leaders have been asked to get active in their respective constituencies.
