BJP leader faces brickbats after announcing budding politician’s divorce on social media | | | Sanjay Pandita

Jammu, Mar 7: A senior leader of the Bharatiya Janta Party from Kashmir has dropped a bombshell saying that “a budding politician” has divorced his wife.
The social media post went viral with rumor mills going rife on which politician may have opted for divorce with his wife.
“Breaking: just heard one budding politician got divorced becoz of Politics as some competitors played dirty politics,” the BJP leader said on Twitter.
In another subsequent Tweet, the BJP leader said, “Hoshyar Khoberdar, Janani Chore Cho Pheran, Puwa Taawan(Be aware, woman snatchers are on prowl!”
Sources said the BJP leader was referring to his competitor from a different party. But a senior politician from the party said the BJP leader in question should not be taken seriously for his posts made in the night hours.

Srinagar, Mar 7: Inspector General, Operations, Kashmir CRPF M S Bhatia on Tuesday said the security preparations for this year Amarnath Yatra and elections, if held, have started.
The Amarnath yatra usually starts in June or July from the twin routes of Nunwan-Pahalgam in Anantnag district and Baltal in Ganderbal district.

Ramban, Mar 7: A man died while several others were injured after a massive landslide occurred on Srinagar-Jammu national highway near Seri area of Ramban district on Tuesday.
An official said a massive landslide occurred near Seri area today afternoon, burying two vehicles under the debris.
He said in the incident one person died while six others were injured and they were being shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The official said more people might be trapped under debris even as rescue operation was going on in the area.
The deceased has been identified as Surjeet Singh son of Sher Singh of Sumber.

Srinagar, Mar 7: Police arrested five drug peddlers and recovered a huge quantity of contraband from their possession on Tuesday.
A police party during a patrolling at Humpora crossing on Baramulla-Handwara highway intercepted a suspicious person who tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully by the alert police party.
During the search, 102 grams of charas was recovered from his possession. He has been identified as Feroz Ahmad Khan a resident of Panditpora was arrested and shifted to police station where he remains in custody.

Srinagar, Mar 7: Security forces arrested two militant associates in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police said on Tuesday.
They said the two associated with banned Lashkar-e-Taiba’s shadow group The Resistance Front were arrested during a cordon and a search operation (CASO) which was launched by Police and CRPF in village Monchkhud Kunzer following a specific information.
During CASO two suspects identified as Khurshid Ahmad Khan and Reyaz Ahmad Khan, both residents of Zandpal Kunzer were apprehended.
“During questioning both suspects revealed that they are working as terrorist associates with banned terrorist outfit LeT (TRF),” police said.
