Jammu, March 31: ‘Annoyed’ over rejection of her plea by the J&K High Court on fresh passport issue controversy, former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday once again ‘attacked’ judiciary for, what she alleged, not ‘protecting’ her fundamental rights.

The High Court refused to intervene in the matter. In February 2021, Mehbooba moved the High court when there was no decision on her application. Mehbooba’s mother’s application for renewal of passport was also rejected on the same grounds by the government. The J&K refused to intervene in her passport case too.
