Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 13: ‘Intentionally or unintentionally’ a coterie of Babus is facilitating the entry of the Aam Adami Party (AAP) in Jammu and Kashmir in general and Jammu province in particular. With every passing day, AAP is gaining strength in Jammu province with leaders from different political parties and some social activists joining the party. The only reason for the strengthening of AAP in Jammu province is the prevailing governance deficit in the region. A coterie of Babus, which has a direct influence on the Raj Bhawan is solely responsible for the growing anger of the people against the present dispensation. Highly placed sources said that this coterie is misleading Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha about the implementation of various policies on the ground. “It is all due to the casual attitude of this coterie that the system has been completely collapsed and the J&K has been plunged into unprecedented crises”, sources said and added that the politically astute leadership of AAP is taking benefits of the prevailing anarchy and chaos in J&K. Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 13: The report of Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India has pointed out that Jammu and Kashmir spends around 80% of its revenue expenditure on the salaries and pensions of its employees. The CAG report has revealed that J&K Government spends around Rs 22719 crore on salaries, pensions and other expenses needed to run the affairs of the administration. The report has pointed out only 20% is spent on capital expenditure i.e. to build infrastructure and other facilities for a common man.
