SRINAGAR, Apr 15: The Directorate of Tourism Kashmir has spent whopping more than seven crores on the advertisement and publicity of tourism related activities during the first eight months of financial year 2017-18.
In response to a Right to Information (RTI) application moved by Muneer Ahmad Dand resident of Vishwa Bharti College Road, Rainawari, Srinagar the Public Information Officer (PIO) of Department of Tourism Kashmir has said that Rs. 711.03 lakhs have been spent under "Advertisement & Publicity" head as per the minutes of the publicity committee meeting.
