Jammu, Apr 15: Despite spree of announcements made by successive coalition governments for Jammu city, all have been a big flop before their claimed agenda of development.
The coalition Governments in Jammu and Kashmir State since 2002 PDP-Congress), NC-Congress in 2008 and PDP-BJP in 2015 have failed miserably in carrying out the works of development that were initiated from time to time.
As per the reliable sources, the NC-Congress coalition government announced artificial lake on Tawi River claiming that this project would attract tourists from different parts of the country and world and would prove a lifeline to tourism industry. ''Ironically, the project is still lingering on despite huge amount of funds being released for the project," sources revealed.

srinagar, Apr 15: A political party recently floated by a former bureaucrat has allegedly gone for a "secret pact" with two leaders, who were "ousted" from the Peoples Democratic Party.
Sources said the former PDP leaders, both of whom were also ministers in the previous government have been in constant touch with some of the top leaders of the new party.
Sources said apart from holding frequent meetings in Kashmir, the two groups are in touch with each other even in New Delhi.

srinagar, Apr 15: After failing to act on the findings of audit reports, the government even did not make the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report public. The irony is that nobody knows where the report has gone.
In December 2017, the then Governor N N Vohra asked the state government to constitute a high-level committee to ensure "time-bound action" on the findings of the CAG on the functioning of the government departments.
Accountant General (Audit) also raised the issue with the Governor that departments were not acting on the findings of CAG report.

Jammu, Apr 15: Kashmiri Pandits who are leading 30th year in exile are demanding revision of their voter lists.
Not satisfied with the figures of total voters in official voter lists, Kashmiri Pandits say the number has not increased since 1990 after their mass exodus from Valley and remained static since then.
The Pandits also accuse the Government of not doing proper census of their population as theofficial figures of their population are much less than the actual number.
