jammu, Apr 15: The frontline staff including doctors, nurses, safai karamcharis beside others, deputed at Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh (SMGS) Hospital here at Shalamar Road, are the most vulnerable to catch infection in view of increasing number of cases and direct referral of patients to the hospital.
Few days back a pregnant woman was found positive at SMGS Hospital after which over 15 doctors were sent on quarantine but still the vulnerability of the frontline staff has been intact.

SRINAGAR, Apr 15: The ten year old boy, who tested positive for coronavirus at SKIMS hospital here in Srinagar on March 31, was declared negative by the Hospital authorities on Wednesday.
Confirming the development, his Father said that he was told by the hospital authorities that the final test report of his child has been found to be negative. "Today everyone was relieved in our family when his test reports came out to be negative," he said.
"The doctors will take a call whether he will continue to be in isolation ward as precautionary measures or will be put in quarantine," he added.

SRINAGAR, Apr 15: After a brief respite of one day there was a spike in the Corona Virus cases in Jammu & Kashmir as 22 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the union territory. While 18 cases were reported from Kashmir four others came to the fore from the Jammu division.

BARAMULLA, Apr 15: Eight patients of COVID-19 have been discharged in Uri Baramulla, while as 10 have recovered in Bandipora district.
Sources said that today two more Covid-19 positive patients recovered in Bandipora district. The total recovered cases in Bandipora are now 10 and all these recovered patients are from SK Bala and Hajin areas, said sources.

jammu, Apr 15: Brick kilns will resume operations in Jammu as Lt Governor G C Murmu gave orders of easing out lockdown restrictions in the division, except in areas declared as red zones', amid the coronavirus pandemic.

SRINAGAR, Apr 15: Centre has provided around Rs 90 crore to Jammu and Kashmir police for purchasing of modern weapons, bullet proof jackets and upgraded infrastructure in police stations in the last two years.
Government of India in 2017 initiated a scheme ‘Modernization of Police Forces (MPF)’ to build required infrastructure for police in states and union territories. Sources said Centre provided Rs 769 crore and Rs 811 crore to states and union territories for 2018-19 and 2019-20, respectively.
