Saffron party leadership not on same page over amended domicile law | One leader openly criticizes amended law, term decision of MHA hasty | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 18: Amid huge public outcry over the first draft of the “Domicile Law”, the amendment made by Ministry of Home Affairs has not gone well within the ranks and files of saffron party leadership in Jammu.
On such leader of Saffron party openly criticized the amendment made by Ministry of Home Affairs and termed the decision of amendment a hasty step and a surrender before “Status Quoist” lobby.
In a long article published recently, the leader went on to shower praises on the first draft of the “Domicile Law” and sees a conspiracy behind inserting of a new paragraph 3A, defining domicile. According to the leader the clause was deliberately done to derail the entire process of integration of Jammu and Kashmir with Union of India, which was initiated by Praja Parishad and Jan Sangh.
Undermining the wisdom of youth, locals of Jammu as well as all the politicians from various political parties including Jammu based parties, the saffron party leader has claimed that these parties had relied on rumours and vilification campaign.

SRINAGAR, Apr 18: As 13 more people tested positive for the Novel Corona Virus in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir in the past 24 hours the total number of positive cases of COVID-19 in the union territory reached 341.

Srinagar, Apr 18: With Kashmir bearing the brunt of coronavirus cases in the Union Territory, the government has intensified testing of the suspected cases.
Officials in the Health Department said the testing has grown over two hundred percent within a week.
