First-time Jammu experiencing power cuts in April | 'Transforming J&K' | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 20: While the Jammu and Kashmir Government is spending crores and crores rupees on its publicity to mislead the Union Government, it is the first time in history that the Jammu region is experiencing unprecedented unscheduled power cuts in April.
Earlier during the months of February, March, and April, the Jammu region used to receive uninterrupted power supply but it is the first time in the history of J&K that the Jammu province is experiencing unscheduled power cuts in the month of April.
Power cuts are not only confined to unmetered areas but even in the metered areas-where consumers are regularly paying their bills, are experiencing hours-long unscheduled and unprecedented power cuts.
Earlier Jammu used to experience such power curtailments in May, June, July, August, and September but this year cuts have started from mid-April which is a clear indication that power infrastructure is likely to collapse in the coming summer months.
