Jammu, Apr 25: There seems to be no letup in the discrimination meted out to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and in a recent development the academic arrangement candidates to be engaged in the Government Degree Colleges in Union Territory of Ladakh would be getting double the remuneration, being paid to the candidates in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
Moreover, the academic arrangement candidates of Jammu region have been facing double discrimination as the candidates engaged in far flung areas of Ladakh as well as Kashmir province have been getting extra amount for serving in far flung areas but those serving in far flung areas of Jammu region have not been getting any such extra amount.

Jammu, Apr 25: Soon after Ministry of Home Affairs announced to open stand-alone shops and some other establishments across the country, Jammu and Kashmir administration on Saturday made certain amendments in the consolidated revised guidelines related to the on-going COVID-lockdown.

SRINAGAR, Apr 25: The first day of the holy month of Ramadan came with sad news for a family of Tangmarg in Baramulla after an elderly man of the family passed away since he was affected by the Corona Virus.

Anantnag, Apr 25: 21, including 2 year old girl, tested positive for coronavirus in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district during last 24 hours taking the number cases in the district to thirty seven (37).
“21 persons tested positive during last 24 hours. The infected persons belong to Nowgam, Kulul Shangus, Kotheir, Khapora Larnoo and Khiram,” Additional District Magistrate Anantnag Syed Yasir confirmed to Early Times.

UDHAMPUR, Apr 25: Many J&K residents stranded at national capital Delhi are facing problems in getting food and other facilities in the ongoing nationwide lockdown.
One of the stranded Udhampur residents, Suram Singh informed that they are seven persons at Vishwas Nagar, 60 Feet Road, Lane Number 11, House No 29/60 in Shahdara, district of East Delhi and are on the verge of starvation.
