Jammu, Apr 26: Thanks to Babu Raj, the massive power outages in Jammu are now giving rise to the water paucity in the region with people amid the prevalent scorching heat now denied basic amenity- the water.
As per the reports, Water supply is getting seriously affected due to the long cut of three hours. Electricity supply is available only for 15 hours a day. Due to this, people in many areas are getting water in taps for mere 20 minutes. The biggest problem was in the afternoon, people had to suffer from the heat due to non-operation of fans, coolers, ACs. At the same time, other businesses have started getting affected along with cold beverages due to power cut. Sugarcane juice business has come to a standstill.
Power supply are coming to a to a grinding halt in the old city, Janipur, Bakshi Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Muthi and other areas. There was no electricity in these areas since 8 in the morning and was restored at 10.30 am. After this, there was a cut again at 11 o'clock, which was restored after 12.30 in the afternoon.

Srinagar, Apr 26: A grenade was lobbed by militants on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) vehicle in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday afternoon , an official of the force said.
They said militants threw a grenade at a bullet-proof bus of 18 Battalion CRPF at Brazloo bridge, Kulgam which missed the target.
“Some splinters, however, hit the bus causing some damage. There was no loss or injury in the incident,” a CRPF official said.
