Jammu, Apr 27: The Governor led state government has so far failed to break the monopoly of some blue-eyed officials at Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), who have been managing their stay at the central office for years together.
These employees have become prone to transfers during the elected state governments but even during the governor rule, they have managed to keep their stay intact, due to reasons best known to the authorities.
Sources said of over three dozen employees as well as officials deputed at the central office of JKBOSE, some have been staying there for five to ten years.
"When an honest officer joined the Board as Chairman, he had taken action against this lobby of blue-eyed officials but they had retained their posts, once the officer had joined other department", sources said.
These blue-eyed officials include two Deputy Secretaries, Head Assistants, Senior Assistants, Section-Officers beside others. "In the name of transfer, they have been shuttling from one section in the Central office to the other", sources said,... | |

Jammu, Apr 27: An employee in the Housing and Urban Development Department (H&UDD) got promoted as Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) by producing fake certificate, but what is more shocking is that despite establishing his fraud, the guilty employee was allowed to continue in the department.
Sources told Early Times that first time the issue came into light in 2012 when the H&UDD came to know that an employee of the department, who was drawing migrant salary from the office of Director Urban Local Bodies Jammu and working in Relief Organization, had forged his promotion order and produced fake diploma certificate.
