Transfer industry runs unabated in Agriculture Department | Influential calling shots, get modification of transfer orders within week | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 28: The transfer industry continues to churn even during Governor’s rule and in a latest example, over three dozen officials of Agriculture Production Department (APD) have managed modification of their transfer orders within a week of their transfer.
As per transfer and modification orders issued by Agriculture Production department, the copies of which are with Early Times, over 165 officials of the department were transferred just few days before the imposition of Model Code of Conduct (MCC). Some of these orders include order number 60, 61, 62 Agri of 2019 dated 1/3/2019 and 68 Agri of 2019 dated 7/3/2019.
While red flagging the inadvertent orders, the Executive Councilor of Kargil vide letter number LADHC4/EC/HRAFC/PS/18/415 dated 2/3/2019 had directed to Deputy Commissioner Kargil and Chief Agriculture Officer Kargil not to implement the transfer orders till further orders.
