Home Ministry to unveil robust strategy to curb infiltration along IB in Kathua, Samba | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 2: The Union Home Ministry is gearing up to roll out a comprehensive and innovative strategy to tackle the growing challenge of infiltration along the International Border (IB) in the Kathua and Samba districts of Jammu province.
This move comes in the wake of a marked increase in infiltration attempts over recent months, which have exposed gaps in the current border security framework and prompted urgent calls for action.
Highly placed sources said that with the security situation in the region under scrutiny, the ministry is collaborating with various intelligence and defense agencies to craft a multi-pronged approach aimed at fortifying the IB and preventing unauthorized entries that threaten peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.
